Ever wandered what all those words Mean ?
I know when I first started on this journey, I was so confused by it all
I kept seeing the words Affiliate Marketing and had no clue the power it would hold. It is such an effective way to earn money with being paid commissions. It really is not as hard as people say.
Glossary of terms & words used
Affiliate: An individual who promotes products or services of a merchant in exchange for a commission.
Merchant: The company or entity that owns the products or services being promoted by affiliates.
Commission: The percentage or fixed amount an affiliate earns for each sale or action generated through their unique affiliate link.
Affiliate Link: A unique URL provided to affiliates that tracks the traffic and sales generated through their marketing efforts.
Conversion: When a user takes the desired action, such as making a purchase, after clicking on an affiliate link.
Click-Through Rate (CTR): The percentage of people who click on an affiliate link compared to the total number of people who view the link.
Cookie: A small piece of data stored on a user's device that helps track their activity and attribute sales or actions to the correct affiliate.
EPC (Earnings Per Click): A metric indicating the average earnings generated for each click on an affiliate link.
Niche: A specialized segment of the market that affiliates may target with specific products or services.
Payout Threshold: The minimum amount an affiliate must earn before receiving a commission payment.
Amazon Associates Program: Amazon's affiliate marketing program where affiliates can earn commissions by promoting Amazon products.
